info The Delft Science Centre, LASG, and Philip Beesley Studio created a permanent public sculpture at TU Delft that doubles as a research testbed, developed in collaboration with artists, educators, and researchers from the Netherlands and Canada. The installation will host workshops, festivals, experiments, and STEAM education activities, expanding on previous TU Delft–LASG collaborations. It will also integrate cutting-edge spatial sound technology by 4DSOUND, turning the sculpture into an immersive audio-visual environment. Within this, ARIA (Augmented Reality Immersive Architecture) features Living Shadows, an AR system where digital creatures and environments interact with physical structures through light and shadow, blending virtual and real worlds. Presented at the Highlight Festival TU-Delft.
Together with Joris Takken, we created an integrated spatial sound environment that responds to the sculpture’s sensors, allowing the audience to become part of the artwork by interacting with both the space and the sculpture.
In collaboration with Joris Takken, Team Phillip Beasly, and Tu Delft students.
