Wisselspoor - 2024

Wisselspoor is a live performance performed at E-Live 2024 in the Nicolaï Church in Utrecht.

In this performance, we perform with a self-built cassette instrument (PolyTron), tape loops, and two 4-track cassette recorders. The piece revolves around the contrast between the perfection of digital sound and the imperfection of the sound produced by tape recorders. All source material comes directly from tape and is spatially distributed using 4DSOUND.
